Urban’s completed a full interior build-out for True Society Bridal Shop, providing comprehensive construction services to transform the space into a functional and elegant retail bridal environment. The project included dressing room build-outs, framing, drywall, flooring, ceilings, casework, mechanical systems, and installation of owner-furnished equipment and specialty retail fixtures.
The project began with layout and framing for new dressing rooms, fitting areas, storage spaces, and retail display areas. Urban’s installed metal stud framing to create dressing room partitions, curved and radius walls where required, and support framing for mirrors, drapery tracks, and gown display systems. Drywall was installed, finished, and prepared for painting and final finishes, ensuring smooth, clean wall surfaces appropriate for a high-end retail environment.
One of the key features of the project included installation of radius curtain and drapery racks for the dressing rooms, allowing for curved fitting areas and privacy curtains. Urban’s installed backing and support framing to securely mount curtain tracks and mirrors throughout the dressing rooms. Full-height mirrors were installed in fitting rooms and display areas to enhance the customer experience and functionality of the space.
Urban’s completed concrete work where required, including floor preparation, leveling, and patching to prepare the space for new flooring installation. Flooring installation included durable and aesthetically appropriate materials suitable for retail traffic while maintaining the upscale appearance expected in a bridal shop. Base molding and trim were installed throughout the space to complete the finished interior look.
Acoustical ceiling grid and tile systems were installed throughout the retail space, dressing rooms, and back-of-house areas, coordinated with lighting, HVAC diffusers, and sprinkler heads. Doors, frames, and hardware were installed for dressing rooms, offices, storage rooms, and service areas, ensuring privacy, accessibility, and proper functionality.
Urban’s also installed casework, cabinets, gown racks, and retail display fixtures throughout the store. This included installation of owner-furnished equipment and fixtures (OFCI items), ensuring all retail displays, shelving, and cabinetry were securely installed and properly aligned.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work was completed as part of the build-out, including lighting installation, receptacles, HVAC ductwork and air distribution, plumbing for restrooms and utility sinks, and coordination of all building systems. Glazing installation included storefront glass, interior glass panels, and mirrors as required for the store layout and design.
The project concluded with painting and finish work throughout the space, delivering a clean, polished, and elegant retail environment. The completed True Society Bridal Shop build-out demonstrates Urban’s ability to deliver full-service interior construction for retail spaces, coordinating framing, finishes, fixtures, and building systems to create a functional and visually appealing commercial environment.
